Reconstruction of Provincial Road No 928 at the section from National Road 44 to the junction with National Road 1 – signing of the contract
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 13.04.2023 the contract has been signed between the Provincial Road Administration Authority in Katowice and Budimex S.A on: ” Reconstruction of Provincial Road No 928 at the section from National Road 44 to the junction with National Road 1”.
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure and that our bid was selected as the most advantageous one was published on 8 March 2023 in the current report no. 13/2023 and on 21 March 2023 in the current report no. 17/2023.
Contract value: PLN 183,031,890.70 net
Contract commencement date: within 14 days from the contract date
Works completion date: 36 months from the contract date
The completion time does not include winter periods. The winter period lasts from 16 December to 15 March and is counted as three months.
Guarantee period for the main works: maximum 96 months
Statutory warranty period: maximum 96 months
Advance payment: 5% of gross remuneration amount
Payment terms: within no more than 30 days from the date of receipt of the issued VAT invoice
Bank performance bond: 4.5% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
The Ordering Party shall pay the Contractor a contractual penalty for the Contractor’s withdrawal from the contract due to reasons attributable to the Ordering Part amounting to 20% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount.
The Ordering Party reserves the right to demand supplemental damages in excess of the contractual penalties, up to the amount of actual loss that was incurred or could be incurred due to the improper performance of the contract by the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The Contract value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
