Design (in the railway traffic control industry) and comprehensive execution of construction works on the railway line No 104 at section D Limanowa – Klęczany industrial spur – consortium bid rated highest
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 29 September 2023, PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A. informed the Company that the bid of the consortium of the following companies: Budimex S.A. (Consortium Leader, share of 50%), Gülermak Ağir Sanayi Inşaat ve Taahüt A.Ş. (Consortium Partner, share of 25%) and Gülermak Sp. z o.o. (Consortium Partner, share of 25%) had been evaluated the highest in the tender procedure for: Design (in the railway traffic control industry) and comprehensive execution of construction works on the railway line No 104 at section D Limanowa – Klęczany industrial spur as part of the project entitled: “Modernisation of the railway line No 104 Chabówka – Nowy Sącz, at the sections Chabówka – Rabka Zaryte – Mszana Dolna and Limanowa – Klęczany – Nowy Sącz”.
The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the consortium bid as the most advantageous one, because the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.
Bid value: PLN 1,930,455,530.46 net
Works commencement date: from the date of signing the contract
Works completion date: 38 months from the signing of the contract
Guarantee period for the main works: 72 months
Warranty period: 72 months from the date indicated in the Final Acceptance Certificate
Advance payment: none
Payment terms: 30 days from the date of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 5% of gross remuneration
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of net remuneration
The Ordering Party may seek compensation under general rules if the amount of loss sustained exceeds the amount of the stipulated contractual penalty.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The value of the consortium bid exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
