Construction of the retaining structure of the “Retkinia” chamber and the retaining structure of the “Fabryczna” turnout chamber – selection of the bid of Budimex S.A.
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 3 October 2023 Centralny Port Komunikacyjny Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw informed the Company that its bid was selected as the most advantageous one in the tender procedure entitled: Construction of the retaining structure of the “Retkinia” chamber and the retaining structure of the “Fabryczna” turnout chamber as part of the Internal Project entitled: “Construction of a long-distance tunnel in Łódź along the railway line No 85, together with the incorporation in the railway line No 14”.
Bid value: PLN 146,956,731.38 net
The information that our bid was rated the highest in the tender procedure was published on 2 October 2023 in the current report no. 59/2023.
The total value of orders with the same Ordering Party in the last 12 months amounted to PLN 201,325,855.18 net. The highest-valued order is the aforementioned bid.
Terms and conditions of the highest-valued order:
Bid value: PLN 146,956,731.38 net
of which:
– Task 1 (retaining structure of the “Fabryczna” turnout chamber) – PLN 75,963,759.62 net
– Task 2 (construction of the retaining structure of the “Retkinia” chamber) – PLN 70,992,971.76 net
Contract commencement date: from the date of conclusion of the contract
Works completion date:
– Task 1 – 397 calendar days from the date specified as the works commencement date in the Ordering Party’s announcement issued no later than 90 days before the planned works commencement date
– Task 2 – 337 calendar days from the date of conclusion of the contract
Guarantee period: 36 months
Warranty period: 36 months
Advance payment: 5%
Payment terms: 30 days from the date of receipt by the Ordering Party of a correctly issued invoice by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 10% of gross bid value
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: not to exceed 20% of the maximum net remuneration
The contractual penalties stipulated in the contract shall not exclude the Ordering Party’s right to claim compensation exceeding the value of the stipulated contractual penalties up to the total amount of damage, on general terms.
The total value of orders with the same Ordering Party in the last 12 months has exceeded the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
