Renovation of the road surface of the Motorway on the section between Rusocin and Czerniewice (km 000 +000 - km 151 +900) – replacement of the wearing course and partially binding layer in both directions and partial reinforcement of the existing structure of the roads surfaces and accompanying works – signing of the contract
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 7 November 2023 GTC S.A. ul. Powstańców Warszawy 19, 81-718 Sopot signed an agreement with Budimex SA for: “Renovation of the road surface of the Motorway on the section between Rusocin and Czerniewice (km 000 +000 – km 151 +900) – replacement of the wearing course and partially binding layer in both directions and partial reinforcement of the existing structure of the roads surfaces and accompanying works.”
Contract value: PLN 569,145,748.35 net
Works commencement date: 17 April 2024
Works completion date: 15 August 2028, the works will be carried out in annual stages, not including winter periods.
The winter period lasts from 16 December to 15 March and is counted as three months.
Guarantee period for the main works: 60 months
Warranty period: 60 months
Advance payment: none
Payment terms: 30 days from the date of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 10% of the gross value of the Subject Matter of the Contract
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the gross value of the Subject Matter of the Contract
The ordering party reserves the right to seek damages under general applicable rules if the amount of loss sustained exceeds the amount of the stipulated penalty.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The value of the Contract exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
