Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on December 17, 2021, the Headquarters of the Border Guard informed the Company that its bid was selected in the tender procedure for the “Construction of the protection of the state border on the section of the Podlasie Border Guard Division”, consisting in the design and construction of a physical barrier, hereinafter: “barrier” on section No. 1 (section length approx. 54.82 km) and section No. 2 (section length approx. 50.73 km) of the Podlasie Border Guard Division.
Bid value for the section No.1: PLN 167,722,924.00 net
Bid value for the section No.2: PLN 158,525,072.00 net
Contract commencement date: after handing over the construction site to the contractor
Works completion date: up to 150 days from the date of signing the contract
Guarantee period for the main works: 60 months
Warranty period: 5 years
Prepayment: none
Payment terms: 30 days from the day of delivery of a correctly issued VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 5% of the gross contract amount stated in the bid
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the gross contract amount
The Ordering Party reserves the right to seek damages under general applicable rules if the amount of loss sustained exceeds the amount of the stipulated penalty.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 167,645 thousand net.
