“Construction of protective breakwaters constituting water access infrastructure to the External Port in the Port of Gdynia on the design and build basis” – Consortium bid rated highest
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 25 March 2024, the Consortium of Budimex S.A. (Consortium Leader, share of 50%), Roverpol Sp. z o.o. (Consortium Partner, share of 25%) and Rover Maritime S.L. (Consortium Partner, share of 25%) was informed by the Management Board of Port of Gdynia Authority S.A. and the Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia that its bid had been evaluated the highest in the tender procedure for the “Construction of protective breakwaters constituting water access infrastructure to the External Port in the Port of Gdynia on the design and build basis”.
The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the Consortium bid as the most advantageous one, because the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.
Value of the bid submitted by the Consortium: PLN 438,699,534.11 net
Contract commencement date: the date of conclusion of contract by the Parties
The deadline for the performance of the Contracted Works:
1) Design works together with obtaining a building permit up to 490 days from the date of signing the Contract,
2) Construction works together with obtaining a use permit up to 819 days from the date of obtaining the building permit.
Warranty period: a warranty for defects in the Contracted Works performed for all defects arising for reasons attributable to the Contractor – 10 years
Advance payment: 10% of gross remuneration
Payment terms: up to 30 days from the date of delivery of VAT invoices issued to the Ordering Party on the basis of the physical and financial progress of Work
Bank performance bond: 5% of gross price
Maximum value of contractual penalties payable by the Contractor: 20% of gross remuneration
The Ordering Party has the right to claim compensation exceeding
the amount of stipulated contractual penalties on general terms.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
