Design and construction of the S19 express road section Jawornik – Lutcza of approx. 5.25 km – Consortium’s bid rated highest
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 5 April 2024, the Consortium comprising Budimex S.A. (Consortium Partner, share of 50%), Gülermak Ağir Sanayi Inşaat ve Taahhüt A.Ş. (Consortium Partner, share of 5%) and Gülermak Sp. z o.o. (Consortium Leader, share of 45%) was informed by the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Rzeszów, that its bid had been awarded the highest score in the tender procedure for: Design and construction of the S19 express road section Jawornik – Lutcza of approx. 5.25 km.
The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the Consortium’s bid as the most advantageous one, because the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.
Value of the bid submitted by the Consortium: PLN 1,552,564,000.00 net
Contract commencement date: the date of conclusion of contract by the Parties
Contract completion date: 59 months from the contract date
The implementation time does not include winter periods (i.e. from 1 December to 31 March, counted as four months). The design time includes winter periods (i.e. from 1 December to 31 March, counted as four months).
Guarantee period for the main works: 15 years
Warranty period: 60 months from the date indicated in the Work Acceptance Certificate
Advance payment: from 1% to 10% of the Accepted Gross Contract Amount
Payment terms: within 30 days of the date of delivery of VAT invoices to the Employer, issued for the amounts certified in Payment Certificates
Bank performance bond: 10% of the gross price specified in the bid
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the Accepted Net Contract Amount
The Ordering Party reserves the right to demand supplemental damages in excess of contractual penalties up to the amount of actual loss that was incurred or could be incurred due to the non-performance or improper performance of the contract by the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
