Design and construction of the S12 express road on the Łódzkie Province border – Radom South junction section (without the junction), section 1 – Łódzkie Province border – Przysucha junction (without the junction) – the Budimex S.A. bid awarded the highest score
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that on 18 January 2024, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, Branch in Łódź, informed the Company that its bid was awarded the highest score in the tender procedure for: Design and construction of the S12 express road on the Łódzkie Province border – Radom South junction section (without the junction), section 1 – Łódzkie Province border – Przysucha junction (without the junction).
The aforementioned information does not mean selecting the bid of Budimex S.A. as the most advantageous one, as the procedure concerning the bid evaluation has not yet been finally completed.
Bid value: PLN 367,554,821.00 net
Contract commencement date: date of the contract conclusion by both parties
Contract completion date: 43 months from Contract conclusion
The implementation time does not include winter periods, (i.e., from 16 December to 15 March). The design time includes winter periods (i.e., from 16 December to 15 March).
Guarantee period for the main works: 15 years
Warranty period: 60 months from the date indicated in the Work Acceptance Certificate
Advance payment: from 1% to 10% of the accepted gross contract amount.
Payment terms: up to 30 days from the day of delivery of a correct VAT invoice to the Ordering Party by the Contractor
Bank performance bond: 10% of gross price stated in the bid
Maximum amount of contractual penalty paid by the Contractor: 20% of the Accepted net Contract Amount.
The Ordering Party reserves the right to demand supplemental damages in excess of contractual penalties up to the amount of actual loss that was incurred or could be incurred due to the non-performance or improper performance of the Contract by the Contractor.
Other terms and conditions of the contract do not differ from the market standards.
The bid value exceeds the threshold of PLN 172,381 thousand net.
