Rail Baltica mainline construction in Latvia – signature of a contract
The Management Board of Budimex S.A. announces that it has been informed about the signing of a contract between a company under the business name of E.R.B. RAIL JV PS with its registered office in Riga (Latvia), a special purpose vehicle established under Latvian law by a consortium consisting of: Eiffage Genie Civil, Rizzani de Eccher S.p.A. and Budimex S.A., one the one hand, and SIA “Eiropas Dzelzceļa Līnijas” with its registered office in Riga (Latvia), on the other hand, for the implementation of a public tender project titled “Rail Baltica mainline construction in Latvia”.
Information on the possible selection of the consortium’s bid was published in report No 52/2023 of 24 August 2023, while information on the actual selection of the consortium’s bid was published in report No 55/2023 of 31 August 2023
The net value of the contract is EUR 3,698,833,520 net. The works covered by the contract are divided into stages, the commencement of which, with the exception of the first stage (Declared Sections) referred to in the above-mentioned report No 55/2023 of 31 August 2023, depends on the Ordering Party’s decision.
